Mr. Ryne will turn 9 on April 19. He has decided that this year, he wants a tailgate party, since he is into football and basketball. His invitations were made from Kamyra.com, and look like actual superbowl tickets. We've invited the whole 3rd grade, and will be partying like rock stars.
Dr. Mark has begun making wine. So far, he has made a pinot noir, white zin, green apple reisling, and blackberry & blueberry mix (Boo Boo's Favorite). Its a strenuous process-what with Jodi having to taste all of the concoctions!
Mr. Rody had is pre-k screening last week. The lady said "sir, I have to tell you bad news-your son does not qualify". Apparently, the Road-Dogg is operating at a 5 & 6 year functioning level, identifying 19 colors in 30 seconds (are there 19 colors?) and mastering the alphabet while standing on a chair.
Mz. Jodi, on the other hand, is still whining. Working continuously on her dissertation, she plugs on day after day, trying to impress boring faculty with her words. Someday, it will pay off, but not today. :(
Anyways, the Wilson-McKnight clan are looking forward to Brooklyn's wedding and are ready to get down and do the funky chicken at the reception. Ryne is also thrilled that Uncle Matt Wilson married Terisha, who has a nephew Carson, and they are big buds. Otherwise, we are turning 9, making wine, starting to shine, and forced to wine/whine!

What's new you ask?
So here is our family update....
Enola
- I'm getting ready to start Pre-K and I just celebrated my 3rd Birthday. I got a red Radio Flyer trike and hot pink Scooter. I'm ready to rock and roll! I also got a two new dolls, clothes, a crown, a boa, and battery powered water gun. I loved my water party. I had two swimming pools, two sprinklers, and of course, water balloons. I knock the stuffing out of my sun shaped pinata! My princess ice cream cake was to die for. Thank you to all of you who sent me presents! Look for my thank you card in the mail!
Katie
- Hello hello all! I have just finished my summer semester and sadly cannot wait until fall semester starts! I also just got a new job as a Customer Service Rep for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I don't know yet how I will be able to work full time, go to school full time and still have time to function. It should be interesting! I'll let you all know how it works out!

Rody Turns 3
Rody had his 3rd birthday on July 6. He celebrated with family and friends, but this year he asked for a "blue bike" and a "girl". Against my better judgement..he got a bike. Girls will have to wait.
The Saline County Fair starts next Sunday, July 20, and the Dennis Wilson clan will be working hard to serve the fairgoers. Dennis has worked hard to get the bleachers back in order, with the help of Torch Wilson, and all will up and running soon. Check out the website: www.salinecountyfair.com.
As for the Last Call Band, we have a busy fall planned for us. So far, we will playing at Hogg Hollow Winery on August 30, with a few dates in between, and Shrimp Festival in Golconda at Sweetwater Saloon. Let's just hope the Wilson girls won't get into a barroom brawl this time (don't ask).
Until next time...

Terisha Baby Shower
I'm sure you have all heard by now but Terisha is having a baby shower on 7/20 at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church. She asked that instead of sending a card send a book with a note to the baby inside.

Wilson McKnights Return
The Jodi Wilson McKnights just returned from a Tennessee vacation that would make the Travelocity Gnome blush. We toured Rock City, Ruby Falls, the aquarium, IMAX, Discovery Center, and Lake Winnepauskee. My father (Dennis) tourned Rock City as a kid, and gave my boys a complete description of all the things not to do on the trip, such as spit over the side of the big rock.
Rody turns 3 next week, so we stopped to buy him the gifts that all 3 year olds treasure...fireworks. He picked out Black Cats, bottle rockets, and Japenese things I couldn't pronouce. And to think-we moved so far out in Gallatin County that a hospital is over 30 minutes away.
Thankfully, we all made it back safely to return to a beautiful home with a broken air conditioner. Suprisingly, the fish have survived.
More to follow on the adventures of Mark, Jodi, Ryne & Rody...

Welcome Wilson Family!
Hello All,
So here as you can see we now have new way to stay in touch that doesn't include paying long distance phone charges. You can simply post a message here. Even if only to tell us that your finals are over, your new job is better than you thought it was going to be, or some new craft idea that you are just dying to show everyone. It could even be the annoucement of a birth, wedding, graduation or that your toddler has finally gotten the hang of potty training. No event is to big or to small to share.
So come on we all want to hear from you and want to know what's going on with you and yours! I
P.S. If you are just coming to the blog and want to post and are unable to then shoot me an e-mail and I'll get you added to the list of authors! (arcadawilson@gmail.com)
